The Orange County Regional Center (RCOC) is a private, non-profit organization that is contracted by the State of California to coordinate lifelong services and supports for people with developmental disabilities and their families. The mission of the RCOC is to make Orange County a safe, healthy, and satisfying place to live, work, and play for today's generation and those to come. OC Parks is a part of the RCOC and encompasses regional, natural, and historic facilities, as well as coastal areas throughout Orange County. The Director of Community Resources is an important role within the RCOC.
